Description

Yummy Mikuy Tour

Meeting at 12:00am at the door of the Catedral in Cusco's main square

We will head to the Wanchaq neighborhood to a non-turistic local market where we will try every fruit you don't know and dip local snacks in the freshest Peruvian spices that bring to our gastronomy

the flavours we love.

Our second stop will be a fruty Lucuma Smoothie with superfoods.

Third stop: Hen Soup or Vegan Chupe (arequipenian rich flavored soup)with all the extra ingredients only Peruvian mom's know to serve.

After here we will walk few blocks until the forth stop, the new project

of 2 enthusiastic cusquean young guys trying to rescue the

tradition of drinking Chicha de Jora (inka's corn beer) and disscuss how

the new generations understand  the Peruvian identity.

Enough preambule, now it's time to bring the artillery:

2 alternative art galleries focused on the Chicha-art movement, a trip

to the recent social-history wich classic tours will not tell you about.

3 steps menu of andean-peruvian and Japanesse fussion (nikkei) including a traditional japanesse Misso Soup, spoons of a precolonnial Peruvian ingredients Tabulé with tricolour quinoa and the fussion:

Makis with Alpaca meat or Ceviche (peruvian flag dish)

on a experience to understand the roots of the nikkei fussion.

Wait, it doesn't stop there, we will head to a super small restaurant where we will get the Inkas favorite dish: Olluquito con Charque (a warm and softly spicy stew with curated llama meat, native potatoes and herbs.

We know, you are thinking: hey, that's too much food, i will be full by that. ...but there is allways the second stomach for dessert, right?

Even more if it's Organic Chocolate in a Chocolate Factory!
